Sustainable cities and communities- international experience
The aim of this panel is to debate - from relevant academic points of view - on research about urban issues (housing, transportation, education, health, safety, environment). This happens under the perspective of Sustainable Development Goal 11: Cities and Sustainable Communities, aligning academic knowledge in several areas to point out solutions to make cities more sustainable, safer, resilient to climate change. The round table will discuss sustainable cities, an international experience. The idea is to seek a parallel between countries that present their experiences. If possible, the moderator will try to draw a parallel with Latin America.
