Urban resilience – the ability of any urban system to maintain continuity, grow and thrive through all shocks and stresses. Risk of shocks are posed by the natural environment, such as climate disasters, but also by the societal environment, such as political unrest. Continuing to thrive in such events is a challenging task – one that may benefit from shared knowledge gained in other regions. Which projects have lessons that other cities can learn from?
